About the Volunteer Role

We are a foster-based, all volunteer-run dog rescue based in Los Angeles, seeking an operational data savvy volunteer for everything Salesforce when it comes to the rescue dog's journey through adoption.

Running a dog rescue takes a team of volunteers to keep everything organized! This volunteer position requires very little time weekly because we're a small organization. (Maybe a 2-3 of hours every week.)

This is a great way to be proactive and part of saving lives at risk from the comfort of your own home!

 

Key areas of your role:

  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Executive Director in developing and refining our Salesforce systems to enhance our programs

  • Keeping databases updated by maintaining meticulous records to track dogs rescue journey from intake through adoption

  • Maintaining weekly Dashboards for the Board

 

We use these regularly so comfort with these tools is essential:

  • Expert with Salesforce

  • Proficiency in GoogleSuite - Drive, Docs, Sheets & Forms

  • Expert in email and calendar functioning

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to help behind the scenes virtually!

Requirements

Time commitment: 2-3 of hours every week
