Thank you for understanding!

Our notorious Biggie Smalls was rescued from the shelter who came in as a stray. He was not getting much attention due to his shy demeanor. Most folks want love at first sight, but our little guy needs some time to get to know new people.

This 14lb guy is extremely timid upon first meeting, but sure enough he's opened up to show a lively fun side, and at the same time he's a big ole couch potato. He takes a bit of time (a few days or so) to get used to new people, but after that short warming-up period he's very loving and cuddly.

He would do best in home with parents that have patience for this young boy to open up because with any new stranger he is a little shy, ducks his head and walks away. Once he does open up, oh boy does he love walks and will not want to leave your side! It would be best for him to be with a confident person who has the time and patience to work with Biggie.

He is great with other dogs, house trained, walks great on leash and would appreciate a calm environment to snuggle! He's also crate trained and does fine by himself at home.  He would really flourish in a home with another dog or two with high confidence to show him the ropes. That is a requirement for Biggie. :)

He is now microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and neutered. If you're interested in adopting this sweetie pie, please apply at

He can't wait to be a cherished member of a loving family. Is that you?

This 16-year-old girl found herself in our care when a Good Samaritan informed us that Fergie's family ran out of options to care for her since she was…infested with ticks. The family's solution was to put her down. Immediately, close friends said that WAS NOT an option and to sign an owner surrender form to relinquish this sweet girl to a rescue.

When Fergie was picked up from her previous owners, she had more than just ticks galore! Her nails were so long they were curling in and she also had a UTI, ear infections and a skin infection - all of which she’s currently being treated for. We took her in for a full medical exam and to everyone’s surprise her blood results were wonderful and her Lyme Disease test was negative.

This barely 8 pound lady comes fully vaccinated, house trained (even asks to go bathroom!) and would do well in a home as the only dog or with other dogs with proper introductions! She loves to stick by your side or better yet sit right in your lap too!

We gotta feelin’ her forever home is around the corner. Is that YOU?
