I began fostering dogs from a local dog rescue. It became quickly apparent to me that running dog rescues required a lot of resources in both time and money.
While I could not devote as much time as I would have liked, I felt that I was able to donate items and money. But I also felt like I was just patching a wound that reopened every month when the rescue would need more supplies and/or money. So I set out to find a way to resolve the issue in a way that would provide rescues with the equipment that they needed each month. I did not just want to ask for donations as I believed that it is possible to provide value to both the donor and the rescue. This is how Max and Neo Dog Gear was born.
A lot of companies start their company and then they figure they give back or donate a portion of proceeds to help them get sales. This was started with donations first, then I tried to figure out how to fund those donations.

We manufacture and sell high quality dog products and sell them at the same or lower prices as retail stores. When you purchase a Max and Neo product, you are getting a great product and a great price AND you are helping dog rescues. By donating a product every time someone purchases a product, we can support and supply dog rescues with a virtually never ending supply of leashes, collars, harnesses, best, etc..
At the end of every month, we tally up the number of products sold. Based on that number, we decide on how many rescues we can donate to for that month. We send out donation boxes with 25 items in each box. So, if we sell 5,000 leashes and collar in particular month. We will send out donation boxes to 200 rescues. (200 X 25 = 5,000).

Max & Neo donates 1 to 1 for dog rescues. For every product sold they donate one to a dog rescue. They've donated over $5 million dollars worth to over 4,000 rescues.
