About the Volunteer Role

We’re looking for volunteers open to fostering a dog in need from the comfort of their loving home! Does this sound like you? Our rescue covers the cost of supplies, food and medical needs while the pup is in your home. :-)

You can note your desired age, needs and activity level of the dog you think could be a good fit for your home. Then we'll then follow up to discuss your preferences and time constraints.

Desirable qualifications:

  • You LOVE dogs!

  • You have a safe and loving home environment

  • You are confident in your dog handling skills and/or are open to learning skills

  • You like communicating, as you’ll provide updates or needs to your dedicated Foster Coordinator


* MUST LIVE IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA: Unless otherwise discussed in advance, we will only consider Los Angeles area foster homes. If you do not live in the LA area please check with us before filling out an application by e-mailing us

*IF RENTING, have the knowledge and consent of your landlord that you will be fostering dog(s).

*MUST BE 25+: Applicant must be at least 25 years old and head of household.

*Be willing to work with rescue volunteers to coordinate meet and greets with potential adopters.

We are a 501(c)3 foster-based dog rescue saving neglected and abandoned dogs, mending their broken hearts and finding their forever homes.

As a 100% volunteer nonprofit, we rely on the compassion of other rescue dog lovers in the community to help us make a greater impact.
